THE VENUE!
After the success of our convention in 2012 (we blew the roof off the place) we are expanding!Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland is the location for this years convention. ATLANTI-CON Needs a Mascot!
The Planning Committee and Co-Executive Directors need YOUR help! Seems we forgot one very important thing... A MASCOT!
So we are asking for you to submit your ideas to us to help create a recognizable mascot for ATLANTI-CON!
This mascot will be the face of ATLANTI-CON for years to come and will be present at all events we take part in, whether it be promoting our own convention or crashing some other convcention to get attention!
Couple of things to consider when submitting your ideas:
- should be easily recognizable as being tied to Newfoundland
- should be easy to recreate as a costume
- can come from science fiction or any of its related genres
- should be "family friendly" and convey a positive outlook for the convention
